In a bid to prevent a full-scale Israeli invasion of Rafah, the Biden administration is extending support to Israel, offering valuable assistance to deter military action.

The US has proposed aiding Israel with intelligence to locate Hamas leaders and uncover hidden tunnels.

Additionally, American officials have offered to provide thousands of shelters for Palestinians evacuated from Rafah, ensuring they have essential necessities.

President Biden and his aides have been actively engaging with Israeli counterparts to advocate for a more limited approach in the Gaza city.

Amid escalating tensions, the US emphasizes the importance of a comprehensive evacuation plan to safeguard Palestinian civilians and mitigate humanitarian crises.

The detailed discussions underscore the high stakes involved, as Israel weighs its next move in Rafah, the only city in Gaza untouched by Israeli attacks.
