The Commissioner-General of UNRWA revealed that at least two children succumbed to the extreme heat wave in the Gaza Strip, as per reports.

Speaking to Al-Qahera News TV Channel, the UNRWA Commissioner-General highlighted the Gaza Strip’s recent encounter with an unprecedented heat wave, exacerbating its already dire living conditions.

Meanwhile, amidst the scorching temperatures, Israeli occupation forces persisted in conducting numerous raids, artillery shelling, and perpetrating atrocities across the Gaza Strip. These actions have resulted in tragic civilian casualties and horrifying crimes committed in invaded areas, against a backdrop of a catastrophic humanitarian crisis compounded by a siege that has displaced over 90% of the population.

Furthermore, the Commissioner-General underscored the Israeli occupation’s destructive policies, with airstrikes demolishing entire residential areas in Gaza as part of its ongoing aggression.

The relentless bombardment has left thousands of Palestinians dead or injured, many still trapped under rubble due to the lack of recovery efforts. This situation persists amid the suffocating blockade imposed on the Gaza Strip, exacerbating humanitarian conditions by severely restricting the entry of fuel and vital aid.
