UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed met US Commerce Secretary Gina Raimondo to Boost Economic and Technological Cooperation
Al Nahyan held a meeting with US Commerce Secretary Gina Raimondo to discuss the expanding economic, trade, investment, and technological ties between the UAE and the US.
The meeting focused on supporting the vision of both countries to achieve sustainable economic prosperity.
During their discussions, the importance of investing in artificial intelligence and advanced technologies was emphasized to ensure a more prosperous, developed, and sustainable future for all.
Additionally, they discussed the “Global Partnership for Investing in AI Infrastructure” recently announced by the MGX technology company in collaboration with several American firms specializing in this crucial future-oriented sector.
This partnership aligns with the Gulf country‘s developmental vision where technology and artificial intelligence are central themes.
The meeting was attended by key UAE dignitaries including Sheikh Tahnoon bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Ruler of Abu Dhabi and National Security Advisor; Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chief of the Presidential Court for Special Affairs; Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan, Advisor for Special Affairs at the Presidential Court; Ali bin Hamad Al Shamsi, Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for National Security; Mohammed Hassan Al Suwaidi, Minister of Investment; Khaldoon Al Mubarak, President of the Executive Affairs Authority; and Yousef Mana’a Al Otaiba, UAE Ambassador to the United States.
