UAE Urges Restraint & De-escalation in the Middle East

Today, Jordan‘s King Abdullah II received a phone call from His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE.

The call addressed efforts to achieve an immediate and permanent ceasefire in Gaza, as well as the ramping up of humanitarian, medical, and relief aid delivery to the people in the sector through all possible means.

Emphasis was placed on the importance of continuing Arab coordination efforts, especially in light of the developments unfolding in the region.

The phone call between King Abdullah II and President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan underscores the ongoing diplomatic efforts to address the crisis in Gaza and the wider regional context.

Both Jordan and the UAE maintain close ties and play significant roles in regional diplomacy, particularly concerning the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
