UAE & Turkey Discuss Strengthening Ties

UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan engaged in discussions aimed at bolstering bilateral relations between their nations.

On the sidelines of the World Governments Summit (WGS) 2024, UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan engaged in discussions aimed at bolstering bilateral relations between their nations.

With Türkiye honored as a guest at the WGS, the meeting underscored the mutual commitment to enhancing their extensive economic partnership and exploring new avenues for cooperation in fields such as investment, trade, energy, technology, and sustainable development.

During their talks, Sheikh Mohamed emphasized the significant growth witnessed in the UAE-Turkish relations, reflecting on the positive trajectory of their collaborative efforts. The dialogue also extended to the agenda of the WGS, highlighting its importance in fostering innovative governmental practices and strategies poised to address contemporary and future challenges.

In addition to bilateral concerns, the two leaders exchanged views on various regional and international issues, including the recent developments in the Gaza Strip, showcasing their shared interest in contributing to global peace and stability.
