UAE President Begins Official Visit to Russia on Monday

UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan will begin an official visit to the Russian Federation on Monday, October 21, 2024.

During his visit, Sheikh Mohamed will engage in talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin, with a focus on enhancing bilateral relations, especially in the fields of economy, trade, investment, and energy. These discussions are part of the ongoing strategic partnership between the UAE and Russia and will also touch on various regional and international issues of mutual concern.

In addition to the bilateral meetings, Sheikh Mohamed will attend the 16th BRICS Summit in Kazan, Russia, from October 22 to 24. This will be the UAE’s first participation in the summit as a BRICS member, marking a significant step in its engagement with the group.
