The UAE has issued a strong condemnation of the Israeli attacks on the Palestinian city of Jenin and its camp, which involved air strikes and shootings resulting in casualties.
In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) of the UAE called on Israeli authorities to take measures to de-escalate the situation and refrain from actions that further exacerbate tensions and violence in the Palestinian territories.
The Ministry emphasized the importance of supporting regional and international efforts aimed at halting the escalation of tensions and advancing the revitalization of the Middle East Peace Process. It also urged an end to illegal practices that pose a threat to the two-state solution and emphasized the need to establish an independent Palestinian state based on the 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital.
