Jordanian Pilot Major Ali Al-Harasis from the Royal Jordanian Air Force (RJAF) died after being hospitalized following the crash of a military Cobra helicopter during a training flight.
An official military source at the Jordan Armed Forces – Arab Army (JAF) expressed deep sorrow over the tragic death, Jordan News Agency (Petra) announced on Tuesday
In the same vein, the General Command of the Jordan Armed Forces – Arab Army extended heartfelt condolences to the family of Al-Harasis.
Earlier on Monday, a military helicopter belonging to the Royal Jordanian Air Force crashed in the Umm Al-Dananir area in North Amman near Balqa.
A Cobra-type military helicopter crashed during a routine training flight and made an emergency landing in the Balqa area.
A military source noted that the helicopter was severely damaged, and its two pilots suffered injuries and were promptly evacuated to Al-Hussein Medical City.
