Tunisian President Kais Saied met with Ahmed Belhoul Al Falasi, the UAE Minister of Education, at the Carthage Palace to discuss prospects of cooperation between the two countries in the fields of education and learning.

During the meeting, Saied emphasized the significance of education and learning as pivotal sectors of sovereignty.

He highlighted that nations can only prosper when education is built on a foundation of values that inspire the youth to contribute to their homelands and open doors to knowledge and wisdom.

President Saied also discussed the establishment of the Supreme Council for Education and Learning, which was incorporated into the constitution on July 25, 2022.

Additionally, he mentioned the forthcoming national consultation that is scheduled to begin in the latter half of the coming month.

The meeting also encompassed a review of the strong bilateral ties between Tunisia and the UAE, as well as the mutual commitment to enhancing these relations.

A special emphasis was placed on the domains of education and learning, with both countries keen on further supporting each other in these areas.

This exchange between President Saied and Minister Al Falasi underscores the importance of collaboration in the education sector to foster knowledge-sharing, expertise, and best practices.

As Tunisia and the UAE seek to strengthen their educational systems, the joint efforts between the two nations are expected to yield positive outcomes that benefit their societies, economies, and international standing.
