Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, the head of Sudan’s Sovereign Council, strongly emphasized the Sudanese military’s capability to decisively resolve ongoing conflicts and quell rebellions. His comments were made during a visit to the Flamengo military base in Port Sudan, in the eastern part of the country.

Al-Burhan’s said: “The actions of these groups do not resemble the people of Sudan, their morals, or their characteristic virtues.”

He added: “The entire Sudanese populace stands with the military, and we will defeat this rebellion and treachery from mercenaries coming from various parts of the world.”

Al-Burhan noted:”We are dedicating our efforts to put an end to this rebellion, navigate through this hardship, and emerge stronger.”

He stated: “We fight as a singular military force without any external support.”

“We fight alone and rely solely on ourselves.”

Abdel Fattah al-Burhan has made it clear that the Sudanese military is equipped and prepared to handle the challenges posed by internal conflicts and rebellions. He expressed great confidence in the military’s ability to act autonomously and resolve crises, emphasizing the unity and resilience of the Sudanese people in supporting the military’s endeavors.

This strong assertion comes at a crucial time, as Sudan faces ongoing internal struggles, raising questions on the stability of the region. Burhan’s statement serves as a rallying call for unity and sends a message to dissenting factions about the formidable force they are up against.

The steadfast stance by the Sudanese leadership carries weight not just internally but also impacts the broader geopolitics of the African continent. With this proclamation, Sudan seeks to establish itself as a stable entity capable of managing its internal affairs, signaling to neighboring countries and global powers alike.
