Swedish authorities reported a shooting incident at the Israeli embassy in Stockholm, which occurred without causing injuries.
The event took place near the embassy around 6:00 PM on Tuesday.
According to Stockholm police spokesperson Rebecca Landberg, evidence suggests the embassy was targeted, but details remain undisclosed due to the ongoing investigation.
This incident coincides with another investigation in Denmark, where two explosions occurred near the Israeli embassy, also without injuries.
Swedish police have yet to make any arrests but confirmed that the area is under intense surveillance.
This follows a series of threats against Israeli interests in Sweden, including a discovered grenade at the embassy in February and shots fired in mid-May.
Recent months have seen a rise in anti-Semitic crimes in Sweden, intensifying security concerns amidst escalating Middle East tensions.
Danish police announced on Wednesday that they are investigating two explosions that occurred near the Israeli Embassy in Copenhagen.
In a statement posted on social media platform X, the police confirmed that no one was injured in the blasts and that initial investigations are underway.
Authorities are also examining a potential connection between the explosions and the nearby Israeli diplomatic mission.
This incident follows a violent attack in Tel Aviv, where two gunmen opened fire on civilians in a public area, killing at least eight people and seriously injuring seven others.
The attacks come just hours after Iran launched approximately 200 ballistic missiles at Israel, a strike that Iran’s Revolutionary Guard described as successful, claiming it hit its intended targets.
