Saudi Arabia’s Cabinet convened on Tuesday to deliberate the Kingdom’s collaborative endeavors with its partners aimed at fostering collective action to cease the conflict in Gaza.
According to the Saudi Press Agency, the Cabinet discussed measures to safeguard civilians, facilitate humanitarian aid delivery to Gaza, and garner international recognition for an independent Palestinian state.
The Cabinet reiterated Saudi Arabia’s commitment to advancing global peace and security and supporting pathways to stability and development, both regionally and globally.
Additionally, the Cabinet received updates on recent bilateral and multilateral discussions between Saudi Arabia and various countries, aimed at expanding political and economic cooperation to serve mutual interests and address global challenges effectively.
The Cabinet commended the outcomes of the special meeting of the World Economic Forum held in Riyadh, emphasizing that the event solidified the Kingdom’s stature as a premier global investment destination.
Furthermore, the Cabinet expressed gratitude for King Salman’s patronage of celebrations marking the golden jubilee of the Islamic Development Bank, affirming Saudi Arabia’s unwavering commitment to Islamic solidarity and shared development principles.
Ministers also reviewed the results of the Umrah and Ziyarah Forum, discussing forthcoming initiatives and development projects aimed at enhancing the pilgrimage experience.
In addition, the Cabinet approved several memoranda of understanding for cooperation between Saudi Arabia and other countries across various sectors.
