Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud met on Thursday with EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Josep Borrell, to discuss regional and international developments, focusing particularly on Gaza and ongoing efforts concerning it.

According to Saudi news channel Al Ekhbariya, the meeting, held on the sidelines of the annual European Council on Foreign Relations meeting, covered bilateral relations and ways to enhance and develop them in mutually interesting areas.

During the same context, Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud also met with the UN Coordinator for Humanitarian Affairs and Reconstruction in Gaza, Sigrid Kaag, to discuss the importance of delivering sufficient and sustainable humanitarian aid to Gaza. They emphasized the necessity of reaching a ceasefire to halt the escalating humanitarian crisis in the region.
