Mohamed Al-Mnifi, the Chairman of the Libyan Presidential Council, held a meeting with Field Marshal Khalifa Haftar, the General Commander of the Libyan National Army (LNA), in Benghazi.
During the meeting, the leaders discussed the importance of creating favorable conditions for fair and impartial parliamentary and presidential elections.
They also addressed national security challenges along the Libyan border.
Prior to the meeting, Al-Mnifi visited Benghazi to inspect various development projects and assess the requirements for their completion.
The visit was in preparation for the upcoming third meeting of the Financial Arrangements and Public Spending Follow-up Committee scheduled for Monday.
