A French news report yesterday indicated that Real Madrid’s new star, Kylian Mbappé, is planning to take a decisive step against his former club, Paris Saint-Germain (PSG).

Mbappé did not receive his salary for the past two months, April and May, as well as some overdue bonuses.

According to the French newspaper “L’Equipe,” Mbappé may resort to sports courts to claim his overdue payments.

Reports suggested that Mbappé had agreed with Nasser Al-Khelaifi, the president of PSG, to waive €80 million this year, which includes loyalty bonuses.

However, the newspaper clarified that Mbappé might obtain these funds through litigation because the commitment between Al-Khelaifi and the player was not documented in writing.

Real Madrid officially announced last Monday its signing of Mbappé in a free transfer deal for five years, as his contract with PSG expires on June 30.

Real Madrid is set to announce the Mbappe deal next week. This means that Real will announce the anticipated deal before the UEFA European Championship, scheduled to take place in Germany from June 14 to July 14.

Mbappe (25 years old) announced his departure from Paris Saint-Germain weeks ago at the end of this season without revealing his next destination.

Mbappe leaves PSG after spending seven seasons with the club, during which he won 15 domestic titles.
