Jordan’s Foreign Minister, Ayman Safadi, issued a stern warning during a joint press conference with German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock in Amman today, stating that any attempt to relocate Palestinians from the West Bank to Jordan forcibly would be considered an act of war against Jordan.

Minister Safadi emphasized that escalating tensions in the West Bank could lead to a broader conflict in the region.

He categorically rejected the ongoing dangerous escalations in the area. “What is happening in the West Bank is a serious escalation that we cannot accept,” Safadi stated.

He also questioned Germany’s stance on imposing sanctions against Israeli extremists like Itamar Ben-Gvir and Bezalel Smotrich, who have violated international law. Safadi expressed concern about the dwindling hope for peace in the West Bank following the unlawful settlement constructions.
