Today, Sunday, the Jordanian Armed Forces – Arab Army, executed 8 airdrops of humanitarian and relief aid with the participation of sisterly and friendly countries targeting several locations in northern Gaza.
Participating in the airdrop operation were an aircraft belonging to the Royal Jordanian Air Force, four aircraft from the United States, one from the Arab Republic of Egypt, one from the Federal Republic of Germany, and one from Britain.
The Jordanian Armed Forces affirmed their commitment to sending humanitarian and medical aid through an airlift, using aid aircraft from Marka Airport to Al-Arish International Airport or through airdrop operations to Gaza or land convoys to assist the people in Gaza in overcoming difficult situations, embodying the spirit of cooperation and solidarity between the two brotherly peoples.
The number of airdrops carried out by the Jordanian Armed Forces – Arab Army since the start of the Israeli aggression on the sector has risen to 86 Jordanian airdrops and 203 airdrops executed in cooperation with sisterly and friendly countries.
The situation in the Gaza Strip has been dire due to ongoing conflicts and political tensions in the region.
The Israeli-Palestinian conflict has led to numerous humanitarian crises, with Gaza often bearing the brunt of the violence and facing severe shortages of essential supplies, including food, medicine, and clean water.
The aid provided by Jordan, along with other international partners, plays a crucial role in alleviating the suffering of the people in Gaza and supporting their basic needs amidst challenging circumstances.
