Israel’s Defense Minister Yoav Gallant has hinted at the possibility of a ground offensive against Hezbollah in Lebanon.
Gallant stated that the assassination of Hezbollah’s Secretary-General, Hassan Nasrallah, would be a significant action, but not the ultimate goal, according to various media reports.
Addressing Israel’s armored corps during a military exercise, Gallant emphasized, “We will use all our capabilities, including you, to achieve what serves the entity.”
He further affirmed that Israel’s objective is to “restore the northern residents,” vowing to utilize Israel’s ground, naval, and air forces to accomplish this goal.
