Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stood resolute against international pressure, affirming the Israeli Defense Forces’ (IDF) intention to enter Rafah during a visit to IDF soldiers on March 14.

Addressing concerns over international calls urging restraint, Netanyahu asserted, “While the IDF is gearing up to advance into Rafah, we’re encountering international pressure to deter us from completing our mission in the area. As Israel’s prime minister, I will resist these pressures.”

Netanyahu’s remarks, as reported by The Jerusalem Post, underscored his commitment to ensuring the security of Israel and achieving victory over Hamas. “We will enter Rafah, fulfilling our objective to dismantle Hamas, thereby restoring security for the people of Israel and securing a decisive victory for our nation,” he declared confidently.

The prime minister’s unwavering stance highlights the ongoing tensions surrounding the conflict in Gaza and underscores Israel’s determination to assert its military objectives despite international scrutiny.
