Ahmed Sanjab, a reporter for “Cairo News” in Beirut, reported on Sunday that Israeli occupation forces dropped leaflets on the town of Wazzani in southern Lebanon, near the Israeli military settlement of Metula. The leaflets urged the residents of Wazzani and the surrounding areas to evacuate, claiming that these areas are being used by Hezbollah to launch rockets into territories controlled by Israeli forces.

Sanjab added that the Metula military settlement was targeted by Hezbollah, resulting in partial destruction of a building within the settlement. The Israeli leaflets calling for evacuation followed this attack, especially since Metula was not the only target, but the Malikiya site in Israel was also hit.

He pointed out that Hezbollah launched dozens of Katyusha rockets towards an Israeli military site named “Rawiya,” located opposite the eastern sector of southern Lebanon. This operation is significant as it occurs deep within the territories controlled by the Israeli army, indicating a significant development in Hezbollah’s response operations from southern Lebanon.
