After a month and a half since launching its military operation in Rafah, southern Gaza, and gaining control of the Palestinian side of the border crossing with Egypt, Israeli forces continue their push to seize the entire city.

Israeli tanks made significant advances on several fronts in Rafah on Friday. The offensive expanded to eight fronts on Saturday, according to reports.

The incursion covered key areas including the Rafah crossing, Salah al-Din axis, Tel Zorab, Passport Roundabout, Bank of Palestine, Salah al-Din Gate, and Dhu al-Nurayn Mosque.

The Israeli army stated that its forces are conducting “precise, intelligence-based operations” in Rafah, with soldiers engaging in combat near tunnels used by Hamas militants.
