In a recent development, the Israeli military conducted airstrikes targeting the towns of Tyre Harfoush, Shehin, and Um Al-Tout in southern Lebanon, as reported by the Cairo News Channel.

Earlier this week, the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) announced that five of its soldiers were injured following the launch of an anti-tank missile from Lebanon towards a military site in the Menara region. Additionally, an enemy drone originating from Lebanon crashed in northern Israel.

Providing further details, an IDF spokesperson stated, “Three Israeli soldiers sustained serious injuries as a result of the anti-tank missile launched at a military site in the Menara area. The injured soldiers were evacuated for medical treatment, and their families have been informed.”

The spokesperson continued, “One IDF soldier suffered severe injuries, and another sustained moderate injuries due to the crash of an enemy drone that entered Israeli territory from Lebanon. Both soldiers were evacuated for medical treatment, and their families have been notified.”

In response to these developments, Hezbollah, the Lebanese political and militant group, declared that it targeted the Israeli site of Ramim and gatherings of Israeli soldiers at multiple locations in southern Lebanon. They confirmed causing direct injuries.

Hezbollah has reported the deaths of seven of its members since the escalation began on the southern border following Hamas’s launch of “Operation Aqsa Tempest.” This brings the total casualties for Hezbollah due to Israeli airstrikes in southern Lebanon to 68 members.
