Israel has informed Lebanon and Iran through diplomatic channels that it is ready for a comprehensive war.

Sources added that the security establishment in Israel is preparing for a range of possible responses, including attempts to breach the northern border.

Meanwhile, Head of Iran’s Strategic Council on Foreign Relations, Kamal Kharrazi, warned Tel Aviv about escalating tensions in the region, suggesting that Netanyahu should end the brutal war in the Gaza Strip.

Kharrazi dismissed Israel’s claim about the incident in the occupied Golan as a repetition of its previous allegations following the bombing of Al-Mamadani Hospital in Gaza, which resulted in the martyrdom of 500 civilians.

“Israel now aims to expand the war by accusing Hezbollah of the attack on the occupied Golan,” Kharrazi stated.

He called the Zionists’ claim ridiculous, noting that the residents of the occupied Golan opposed the Zionist regime and protested during the Israeli premier’s visit.

“How could Hezbollah, Syria’s ally, attack the loyal residents of Syrian Golan? This is a conspiracy. If Israel gambles on this issue, it will face strong responses,” he warned.

On his part, Arab League Secretary-General Ahmed Aboul Gheit warned on Wednesday about the dangers of Israeli escalation in the region, stating that Israel is engaging in reckless policies without considering the severe consequences that could affect the region.

The Secretary-General emphasized that “assassinations are actions that violate international law, and conducting them reveals a blatant disregard for international norms and a brazen affront to the rules governing relations between states.”

Aboul Gheit continued by asserting that “the international community must exert the necessary pressure on Israel to prevent a full-scale regional explosion that will result from the reckless policies pursued by its leaders.”
