The Air Travel and Tourism Services Syndicate in Iran stated that the first batch of Iranian tourists will go to Egypt within the next 45 days, according to Tasnim News Agency.
The agency reported that the first flight will be launched directly between Tehran and Cairo.
In recent remarks, Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian affirmed that his country is prepared for the normalization of relations with Egypt and Morocco as well.
IAmirabdollahian stressed that relations with the Islamic and regional nations are a top priority in Iran’s foreign policy agenda.
“We are delighted to have been able to normalize the relations between Saudi Arabia and Iran in the recent months through the course of diplomacy and negotiations,” the foreign minister said.
He also stated that Iran welcomes the promotion of interaction and normalization of relations with other regional and Muslim countries, including Egypt and Morocco.
