The Health Ministry in Gaza announced on Monday, marking the 143rd day of the Israeli offensive on the territory, a surge in the casualty toll since the onset of bombardment on October 7th.

The Ministry disclosed in a statement the martyrdom of 29,782 individuals and the injury of 70,043 others due to the ongoing Israeli aggression.

It was highlighted that the occupation committed 10 massacres against civilians in the Gaza Strip in the last 24 hours, resulting in 90 martyrs and 164 injured.

The statement pointed out that several victims remain under the rubble and in the streets, as the occupation hinders the access of ambulance and civil defense teams.

In a separate context, the Palestinian resistance continues to counter the occupation’s incursions into the territory.

The Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, announced the destruction of an Israeli Merkava tank with a “Yasin 105” missile in the Absan al-Kabira area east of Khan Yunis.

The Brigades also targeted an Israeli force of 15 soldiers, inflicting casualties and injuries east of Khan Yunis.

Al-Ghad’s correspondent from Rafah reported the martyrdom of three Palestinians in an Israeli strike targeting the Abedin family home in the Al-Bayuk area northeast of Rafah.

Additionally, three Palestinians were martyred in a strike on the Abu Al-Ainin family home northeast of the city.

Three Palestinians were injured in an occupation strike targeting a residential apartment in the Al-Jneina neighborhood east of Rafah.

In Khan Yunis, two Palestinians were martyred in an Israeli strike on the Abu Muammar family home near the European Hospital.

The occupying forces also demolished homes in the Al-Amal area in central Khan Yunis in the south of the territory.

In the north, our correspondent reported Israeli aircraft launching a series of raids on the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood south of Gaza City.

Over ten citizens were martyred as the occupying forces opened fire on Palestinians waiting to receive aid west of Gaza City.

Al-Ghad’s correspondent also reported the martyrdom of two Palestinians in a strike targeting a vehicle in the Abu Al-Ajein area east of Deir Al-Balah in the central part of the territory.
