Hanafi Jabali, Speaker of the Egyptian House of Representatives, is visiting Libya on Monday to meet his Libyan counterpart, Aguila Saleh.
This marks Jabali’s first visit to Libyan territory. He will be accompanied by a parliamentary delegation, according to AlQahera News.
Jabali is scheduled to address the Libyan House of Representatives and hold a meeting with Saleh. This visit underlines the ongoing commitment to bolster relations between the two nations across all levels.
Earlier this month, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi called for the removal of all foreign forces, mercenaries, and militias from Libya.
El-Sisi emphasized the importance of stability in Libya, highlighting the necessity of a complete withdrawal of all foreign troops, mercenaries, and militias, without exception.
