Egypt & Sudan Discuss Cooperation

On Tuesday, Dafalla Elhaj Ali, the Special Envoy of the President of Sudan’s Transitional Sovereignty Council of Sudan, met with officials from the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, including Deputy Foreign Minister Hamdi Loza and Assistant Foreign Minister Hossam Issa.

They discussed cooperation between the two countries. The meeting also addressed the difficulties facing Sudanese citizens crossing into Egypt and the arrangements made by Egyptian officials to facilitate their movement.

The officials emphasized the importance of continuing and enhancing strategic cooperation between the two nations during these challenging times in Sudan, with the goal of helping the country overcome its crisis and restore security and stability.

Deputy Foreign Minister Hamdi Loza expressed Egypt’s support for Sudan and its willingness to work to overcome any obstacles facing Sudanese citizens crossing into Egypt.

The Sudanese Special Envoy thanked the Egyptian leadership, including President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, for their support during this critical time and expressed his gratitude to the Egyptian people for their solidarity with Sudan.
