Egypt has issued a strong condemnation in response to the recent terrorist attack targeting the Military College in Homs, a city in the Syrian Arab Republic. The attack resulted in the tragic loss of numerous lives and left many others injured.

In an official statement released by the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Friday, Egypt expressed its heartfelt condolences and solidarity with the government and people of Syria, as well as the families of the victims. Egypt extended its prayers for the departed souls and wished a speedy recovery for the wounded.

Egypt reaffirmed its unwavering stance against all forms of violence, terrorism, and the intimidation of civilians. The nation called upon the international community to intensify efforts aimed at eradicating terrorism at its roots, as well as drying up its sources of support and financing.

This condemnable act of violence underscores the urgency of united global action against terrorism, with nations around the world standing in solidarity against such heinous acts.

Egypt stands united with Syria in the face of this tragedy and remains committed to working towards a peaceful and stable future for the region.
