Egypt is demanding an immediate halt to the attacks by Israeli settlers in several Palestinian villages in the occupied West Bank, which have resulted in casualties and injuries among Palestinian civilians, as well as significant destruction and damage to properties without intervention from Israeli authorities.

According to a statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Wednesday, Egypt reiterates its total rejection of acts of intimidation, terror, and collective punishment targeting Palestinian citizens. The statement also notes that Egypt has previously warned about the risks and consequences of ongoing escalation by Israel, including the recent invasion of the city of Jenin that resulted in casualties and injuries in a series of successive violent incidents.

The Arab Republic of Egypt underscores the urgent need to break the cycle of violence immediately to prevent further bloodshed and to prevent further deterioration in security conditions and loss of control. This would enable regional and international peace efforts to achieve their goals.
