Algeria’s Minister of Trade and Export Promotion, Taïeb Zitouni, made an official announcement about Algeria’s inclusion in the Trade Initiative under the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA).
During his address at the opening of the Forum for the Trade Initiative in the African Continental Free Trade Area, Zitouni expressed his satisfaction in declaring Algeria’s participation in the initiative.
This initiative allows unrestricted trade exchanges between Algeria and its partner countries within the framework of the African Continental Free Trade Area.
As of now, this initiative includes Tunisia, Egypt, Kenya, Ghana, Cameroon, Rwanda, Mauritius, and Tanzania.
The minister noted that effective trade exchanges among these founding nations of the initiative have commenced.
He encouraged private institutions and entrepreneurs to actively participate in these exchanges.
