Kuwait Opposes Foreign Interference in Libya

Kuwait’s Crown Prince, Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah meets President of the Presidential Council, Mohamed Al-Menfi

Kuwait’s Crown Prince, Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, expressed strong opposition to all forms of negative foreign interference in Libya’s internal affairs, voicing his full support for the President of the Presidential Council, Mohamed Al-Menfi.

During their meeting in New York, the two leaders discussed bilateral relations and Libya’s current political situation.

Crown Prince Al-Sabah affirmed Kuwait’s commitment to assisting Libya in its efforts to enhance security and peace through inclusive elections.

Al-Menfi, in turn, thanked Kuwait for its unwavering support of a Libyan-led solution, highlighting the ongoing talks aimed at achieving parliamentary and presidential elections to end the transitional phases.

The meeting took place as Al-Menfi arrived in New York to attend the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly.
