Twitter is facing another lawsuit after the tech giant allegedly failed to pay for services for offices in London, Dublin, Sydney, and Singapore.

An Australian-based infrastructure company is seeking a collective payment of over $666,000 across the three businesses. This dates back to October 2022 when billionaire Elon Musk took over the company.
“Twitter responded with a campaign of extreme belt-tightening that amounted to requiring nearly everyone to whom it owes money to sue,” the firm said.

It added: “Twitter stopped paying rent on some of its offices and stopped paying several vendors whose services it was still using. Twitter also canceled many contracts and stopped paying people to whom it owes money.”

Meanwhile, Twitter did not give any reason for not making the payment and ignored Facilitate’s calls.

The Twitter owner recently restricted access to the platform, not letting users view the site without logging in.

If people without a Twitter account try to open the platform, they will be met with a screen prompting them to sign up or sign in to Twitter.

The change aligned with Musk’s attempts to revamp Twitter’s business following months of challenges since his takeover late in 2022.
