The aircraft transporting the remains of Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi and his entourage has landed in Tehran.
President Raisi perished in a helicopter crash on Sunday, May 19, while en route to Tabriz.
The tragic accident occurred in the forested area of Dizmar, situated between the villages of Uzi and Pir Dawood.
Onboard the ill-fated helicopter were notable figures including Ayatollah Seyed Ebrahim Raisi, Hojjatul-Islam Ale-Hashem, the Friday Prayers Imam of Tabriz, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Malek Rahmati, the General Governor of East Azarbaijan, along with the pilot, co-pilot, crew chief, head of security, one of the bodyguards, and several other companions. All individuals on the helicopter were confirmed as deceased.
