Health authorities in Gaza announced on Friday that the Palestinian death toll from ongoing Israeli attacks has reached 34,622.

In the last 24 hours alone, the Israeli military has killed 26 Palestinians and wounded 51 others. This brings the total number of injuries to 77,867 since the conflict with Israel escalated last October.

The Gaza health officials reported that due to the intense bombardment, some victims are still trapped under rubble, with rescue operations hampered by the conditions.

Israel initiated a major offensive against Hamas in Gaza as a response to an attack by Hamas militants on the southern Israeli border on October 7, 2023.

This attack resulted in approximately 1,200 deaths and over 200 hostages.
