The Russian Ministry of Defense has announced that its forces have repelled several attacks by the Ukrainian army, claiming to have inflicted losses of approximately 1,000 military personnel on the Ukrainian side within the scope of the special military operation over the past 24 hours.

In a statement released today, the ministry detailed that on the Kupiansk front, 5 attacks were repelled, Ukrainian forces’ gatherings were bombarded, resulting in the death of about 35 Ukrainian soldiers, and the destruction of 2 vehicles and 3 artillery units, as reported by the Russian news agency Sputnik.

On the Donetsk front, Russian forces bombarded Ukrainian forces’ gatherings, neutralizing about 240 Ukrainian soldiers, and destroying 2 armored personnel carriers, 3 vehicles, an artillery piece, and an ammunition depot.

On the Avdiivka front, the Russian forces repelled 13 attacks, neutralizing about 460 Ukrainian soldiers, and destroying 3 tanks, 5 infantry vehicles, 2 armored vehicles, and 4 cars along with artillery units.

On the southern Donetsk front, Russian forces bombarded Ukrainian forces’ gatherings, repelling over 250 Ukrainian soldiers, and destroying 3 vehicles and artillery units.
Furthermore, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced today that its defense systems shot down 143 drones belonging to Kyiv forces, including a “Bayraktar” drone.

The ministry’s statement also mentioned that the Russian operational-tactical aviation, drones, missile forces, and artillery targeted an air ammunition depot, in addition to striking the manpower and military equipment of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in 106 areas.
