In a statement released on Sunday, the Palestinian Prisoners’ Club reported that Israeli occupation forces have arrested 14 Palestinians in the West Bank, bringing the total number of detainees to 6,515 since the beginning of the conflict in Gaza on October 7.

The arrests have been accompanied by widespread acts of harassment, brutal beatings, threats against detainees and their families, as well as extensive acts of destruction and sabotage in the homes of citizens, intentional killings, and confiscation of vehicles and assets.

The situation in the West Bank remains tense as Israeli forces continue to detain Palestinians, raising concerns about the human rights violations and the overall impact on the Palestinian population.

This ongoing conflict has resulted in a significant number of arrests, leaving families and communities in distress.

The Palestinian Prisoners’ Club and human rights organizations have been calling for the immediate release of detainees and an end to the aggressive measures taken by Israeli authorities in the West Bank.

The international community is urged to take action and advocate for a peaceful resolution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict to prevent further human rights abuses and instability in the region.

The humanitarian situation is further exacerbated by the destruction of Gaza’s food system and infrastructure, including homes, hospitals, schools, bakeries, places of worship, and water systems.

Israel has been accused of using food as a weapon against the Palestinian people by destroying and blocking access to farmland and the sea, severely hampering the availability of food and essential supplies.

The healthcare system in Gaza has also collapsed due to the widespread destruction of medical facilities, which has greatly increased the risk of communicable diseases.

Efforts to deliver humanitarian aid have been severely hindered. For instance, UN aid convoys have faced delays and obstacles, with only a fraction of planned deliveries reaching their destinations.

This has left the population in dire need of medicines, food, and other lifesaving supplies.
