The Government Media Office in Gaza stated today that the international community, led by the United States, bears responsibility for the ongoing conflict in the Gaza Strip. The statement emphasized the Palestinian people’s right to self-defense.

According to the office’s statement, the Israeli military has resumed its “brutal war on the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, targeting numerous homes and safe areas in various districts of the sector.”

The statement held the international community, especially the United States, accountable for Israel’s actions and the continuation of the brutal war against civilians, including women and children in Gaza. This comes after the U.S. administration, including the President and Secretary of State, allegedly gave the green light to continue the conflict.

The office reaffirmed the Palestinian people’s right to defend themselves using all available means. It emphasized their right to freedom, independence, and the establishment of their independent state with Jerusalem as its capital.
