U.S. companies have achieved significant success at the Dubai Air Show, signing agreements worth over $128 billion, including a notable $52 billion deal between Emirates and Boeing. This was announced by Martina Strong, the United States Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates.

Ambassador Strong emphasized the importance of the UAE market for American companies, noting that over 1,500 U.S. companies operate in the UAE. Many of these companies are global leaders in their industries, attracted by the UAE’s strategic location, business-friendly environment, and access to growing markets in the region. This statement was echoed by the UAE’s official news agency.

The investment environment in the United States is characterized by its strength, dynamism, and a robust regulatory framework that fosters growth and innovation. Ambassador Strong also highlighted the importance of workforce diversity in these sectors.

Earlier this year, a delegation of 58 senior Emirati business leaders, led by Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, Minister of State for Foreign Trade, participated in the SelectUSA Investment Summit in the United States, hosted by the U.S. Department of Commerce. This strong Emirati participation underscores the UAE’s commitment to investing in the U.S., which contributes to economic growth and strengthens trade relations between the two nations.

Regarding the Dubai Air Show, held from November 13-17, Ambassador Strong proudly noted the largest participation of American companies in this year’s event. These companies demonstrated leadership in aviation innovation, engineering, and technology, as well as ongoing partnerships with their counterparts in the UAE.

Martina Strong affirmed that the strong commercial and investment partnership between the UAE and the U.S. enhances innovation and leads to the provision of state-of-the-art, high-quality products and services, benefiting both countries.

In terms of cooperation on renewable energy technology, Ambassador Strong reported that the UAE and the U.S. are jointly addressing the climate crisis through strategic investments and policies aimed at accelerating carbon removal and mitigating the impacts of climate change.

The Dubai Air Show is a significant event in the global aviation industry, showcasing the latest advancements in aircraft technology, design, and services. This event not only serves as a platform for major deals and partnerships but also reflects the growing importance of the Middle East in the global aviation market. The participation of major U.S. companies and the substantial agreements signed indicate a deepening economic relationship between the U.S. and the UAE, particularly in sectors such as aviation, technology, and renewable energy.

This expanded version of the article provides a comprehensive view of the events at the Dubai Air Show, the significance of the deals made, and the broader context of U.S.-UAE economic relations.
