Austria has announced a humanitarian aid package of €2 million for civilians in the Gaza Strip.

Alexander Schallenberg, the Austrian Minister of Foreign Affairs, stated, “We are working with international relief organizations to better understand local needs,” emphasizing the importance of aid to alleviate the humanitarian emergency for Palestinian civilians.

Susanna Raab, the Austrian Minister for Integration and Chancellor Affairs, is participating in the International Humanitarian Conference hosted in Paris, initiated by French President Emmanuel Macron, aimed at assisting civilian populations in the Gaza Strip.

The minister explained that Austrian assistance will reach Palestinian civilians through the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies.

This contribution reflects Austria’s commitment to providing support during the ongoing crisis in the region, with a focus on helping those most affected by the conflict in Gaza.
