Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune has expressed his “regret over the failure of the Palestinian reconciliation process.”

Tebboune stated that “the Palestinians are not terrorists, and they will not be terrorists.” He emphasized that “those who defend their rights, land, and homeland are not terrorists,” according to Algeria’s channel “Al-Nahar.”

He added, “Unfortunately, the Palestinian reconciliation process that we were striving for has failed because it serves the interests of other countries.” Tebboune also affirmed that “what is happening in Gaza constitutes complete war crimes and crimes against humanity.”

Tensions in the Palestinian territories have escalated recently due to the ongoing Israeli-Palestinian conflict, with many nations expressing concern over the humanitarian situation and the need for a peaceful resolution.
