The Palestinian Ministry of Health has announced a distressing escalation in casualties resulting from the Israeli bombardment of Gaza.
As of today, the death toll has risen to 4,651, including 1,873 children, 1,023 women, 187 elderly individuals, and 14,245 injured.
Additionally, Gaza’s official media bureau revealed that a staggering 50% of residential units in the region have incurred varying degrees of damage due to the Israeli aggression.
This damage extends to over 165,000 housing units, impacting countless families.
Further statistics indicate that 70% of Gaza’s population has been forcibly displaced from their homes, seeking refuge in approximately 220 shelters or host communities. Disturbingly, over 1.5 million citizens now find themselves in a state of forced displacement.
The Gaza government’s media bureau has emphasized that the international community bears a significant responsibility for this ongoing humanitarian catastrophe.
