In a distressing development, Israeli airstrikes continue for the 18th consecutive day across various regions of Gaza, resulting in the tragic loss of over 120 lives, including children and women. This grim toll was reported by the Palestinian News Agency, “WAFA,” citing medical sources.

Throughout Monday night and into Tuesday, Israeli warplanes relentlessly targeted homes in different areas of Gaza, causing extensive casualties.

WAFA reported, “At least 120 civilians, including children and women, have been martyred, and dozens have been injured, some critically and severely, in Israeli airstrikes that targeted multiple homes in Khan Yunis camp, the Qarara area, Rafah in southern Gaza, Jabalia city in northern Gaza, near the Al-Aqsa Martyrs’ Hospital, and in Bureij camp in central Gaza.”

Israeli military aircraft destroyed a residential building in Rafah city belonging to the Al-Aydi family, resulting in 48 casualties, with dozens sustaining injuries, as per WAFA.

The agency further noted that Israeli warplanes targeted a house belonging to the Mkhaymar family in the Tal al-Sultan area of Rafah, resulting in casualties among civilians.

In Beit Lahia, north of Gaza City, Israeli warplanes struck a densely populated residential area, causing casualties among the population who were subsequently transported to the Indonesian Hospital in the town.

WAFA added that “an Israeli warplane targeted a house in the Faluja area in northern Gaza, resulting in several martyrs and casualties.”

Medical sources confirmed “the fall of 23 martyrs, including children, and the injury of at least 80 civilians with various and serious injuries, who were transferred to Nasser Hospital, due to airstrikes that targeted numerous residential homes, a fuel station, both in the central and eastern Khan Yunis.”

Israeli airstrikes also targeted a house in the center of Gaza, in the Bureij camp, leading to casualties, including women and children.

Later, three more martyrs were recovered after targeting the Halabi family’s house in the Bureij camp in central Gaza. Additionally, three women were rescued and transported to Al-Najjar Hospital after an airstrike hit a house belonging to the Mkhaymar family in the western Rafah area.
Early today, Israeli airstrikes hit populated homes in Jabalia town in northern Gaza and the Qarara area in southern Gaza, resulting in numerous casualties.

The Palestinian rescue operations are ongoing to recover more victims from under the rubble of targeted houses.

This humanitarian crisis in Gaza has prompted widespread international concern and calls for an immediate ceasefire to protect civilian lives and alleviate the escalating humanitarian crisis in the region.
