A medical source close to Hamas revealed that at Kamal Adwan Hospital in northern Gaza, 12 infants in incubators are suffering due to a lack of water and food. The source reported on Saturday that the Israeli military has completely destroyed the southern part of the hospital, targeting anyone moving within its premises.
The Ministry of Health in Gaza announced on Tuesday that the Israeli military had stormed Kamal Adwan Hospital following a siege and several attacks. The Ministry stated in a press release that “occupation forces are gathering men, including medical staff, in the hospital courtyard,” sparking fears of potential arrests or executions.
The Health Ministry in Gaza has urgently called on the United Nations, World Health Organization (WHO), and the Red Cross to immediately intervene to save the lives of those in the hospital. Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, Director-General of the WHO, expressed his concern about the attack on Kamal Adwan Hospital after days of siege, emphasizing the need to protect the facility.
The Israeli military claims that Hamas uses civilian facilities, including hospitals, as operational bases, complicating the conflict and humanitarian situation.
