What Did The Egyptian Foreign Ministry Say About Greece’s Shipwreck?

Egypt’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs mourned the shipwreck indecent that took place off the Greek coast last Wednesday, which had set off the Libyan coast towards Europe.

In a press statement, the ministry affirmed that the Embassy in Athens is following the latest updates for the missing and recovering the bodies of the victims to verify the identity and numbers of the Egyptian victims.

The Arab Republic reaffirmed its condemnation, in the strongest terms, of the continued exploitation by organized gangs of illegal immigration crimes.

The Egyptian government extended its sincere condolences and sympathy to the families and relatives of the victims of this painful accident, asking God Almighty to grant them patience and solace.

At least 78 dead after migrant boat sinks off Greece’s coast when a fishing vessel carrying a large number of migrants tragically capsized and sank, the authorities announced on Wednesday.

The incident, which occurred approximately 46 miles southwest of Greece’s southern Peloponnese region during the night, prompted a significant search and rescue operation. According to the authorities, 104 people have so far been successfully rescued.
