US-led Airstrikes Hit Houthi Sites in Yemen

US-led airstrikes targeted Houthi sites in Yemen overnight, according to Houthi-affiliated media. The strikes hit provinces in the north, west, and central parts of the country, including Sa’ada, Taiz, and Marib.

The US Central Command confirmed that the strikes targeted Houthi-controlled sites in Yemen, but did not provide any further details.

The airstrikes come after the Houthis launched a missile attack on a US-flagged ship in the Gulf of Aden on Wednesday. The missile struck the ship, but caused no injuries.

The Houthis have said they will continue to target ships in the Gulf of Aden in support of the Palestinians.
The airstrikes are likely to further escalate tensions in the region.
