United Nations spokesperson Stephane Dujarric stated that the Israeli military has denied access to a UN assessment mission in the northern West Bank city of Jenin. According to the Palestinian news agency “WAFA,” Dujarric explained that the loss of Palestinian lives has increased due to the Israeli military’s use of lethal warfare tactics. He added that barriers preventing access to the West Bank have affected humanitarian aid, and the entry of ambulances and medical teams has been delayed for a week.

Dujarric noted that the United Nations is closely monitoring developments in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip, indicating that developments are moving in the wrong direction. For the eighth consecutive day, the Israeli military continues its most extensive aggression in the northern occupied West Bank since 2002, affecting several cities and resulting in numerous martyrs, injuries, and arrests.
