Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy praised the active role of UAE President Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan in achieving peace and stability around the world.
Zelenskyy expressed his thanks and appreciation to the UAE as well as its leadership for the ongoing humanitarian support to the Ukrainian people, in light of the current circumstances it is going through.
This came during a meeting held between Zelensky and Minister of Climate Change and Environment, Maryam bint Muhammad Al Muhairi. This aligns with her official visit to Ukraine to discuss developments in the humanitarian situation.
During her visit, Al Muhairi met with Ukrainian First Lady Olena Zelenska, as they touched upon Emirati humanitarian support for caring for children affected by the Ukrainian war.
They also exchanged views on the Olena Zelenska Foundation for Charitable Organizations and its projects, which the UAE backed with $4 million to build 10 buildings that house about 100 children.
On her part, Zelenska expressed her gratitude to the UAE leadership, government, and people for the humanitarian and relief support since the beginning of the crisis for the Ukrainian people.
