Russian defense company Rosoboronexport, a subsidiary of the Russian Ministry of Defense, has declared its readiness to export several types of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), including the Orion reconnaissance UAVs, Orlan-10E, and Orlan-30 reconnaissance UAVs, as well as the Kub-E loitering munition and other systems.

In a statement received by Today’s News Portal, the company highlighted the clear competitive advantage of Russian UAVs available for export.

These UAVs are capable of accommodating improvements based on real-world combat experience in high-intensity operations.

The company’s statement also pointed out that these UAVs have garnered significant interest in the Middle East region in general, and in Gulf countries in particular.

They stated, “We are prepared to offer our partners in this region and other parts of the world not only local production of UAVs, license transfers, and technologies but also the establishment of joint projects and service centers at the client’s facilities, including regional centers.”

The Orlan-30 UAV is designed for aerial reconnaissance, target search, detection, and identification in the visible or infrared spectrum.

Additionally, it provides precise target designation for guided munitions to destroy targets both day and night.

Furthermore, Orlan UAVs can also be used in electronic warfare against enemy UAVs.
