British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak affirmed that the Nottingham incident that left three people dead was ‘shocking’.

Sunak said in a statement: “I want to thank the police and emergency services for their ongoing response to the shocking incident in Nottingham this morning.”

“I am being kept updated on developments. The police must be given the time to undertake their work.
A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after three people were killed across Nottingham,” the Prime Minister added.

Police revealed that three people were being treated in hospital following three incidents in the center of Nottingham.

In the same vein, Sunak thanked the emergency services for their efforts in responding to the incident, asserting that his thoughts are with those injured, and the family and loved ones of those who have lost their lives.

Officers were first called to Ilkeston Road, just after 4 am on Tuesday and they found two people dead in the street.

Police were then called to another incident in Milton Street where a van had attempted to run three people over, all of who are currently being treated in hospital.
