In response, the Vietnamese Prime Minister conveyed greetings to Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and extended his wishes for the UAE and its people to continue flourishing and prospering.

Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan and the Vietnamese Prime Minister reviewed the progress of the bilateral relations between the two countries, particularly in light of the 30th anniversary of their establishment this year.

They discussed several mutually interesting topics related to enhancing cooperation in the economic and trade fields, as well as the efforts of both countries to achieve a comprehensive economic partnership agreement.

The discussions also touched upon the common collaboration in combating climate change and the UAE’s preparations to host the 28th Conference of the Parties (COP28) to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) later this year in Dubai, as part of Expo 2020.

Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan emphasized during the meeting that with the celebration of 30 years of diplomatic relations between the two countries since their establishment in 1993, they are working closely together to develop and enhance this relationship, establishing a comprehensive economic partnership that supports their developmental goals and aspirations.
